|People become homeless for many reasons – leaving an abusive relationship, loss of employment, death of a major income earner, disabilities, disasters, and increased housing costs.
||For kids to be productive and succeed, they not only need the essentials – food, shelter and clothing – they need positive role models and opportunities for activities resulting in healthy minds and bodies.||In order for a community to thrive, everyone must take responsibility and work collectively to ensure all members have access to safety, mental and physical health, equal opportunities and education.|
